Haunting Julia National Tour 2012
Hall and Childs Productions - Photograph Robert Day
"At the Palace Theatre, Westcliff, the production directed by Andrew Hall... is as polished and effective as Ayckbourn's writing when his theatrical powers as a playwright were at their peak... The brilliant setting, designed by John Brooking, makes the small Palace stage look really spacious" - Encore Magazine

Celtic Heartbeat Queen Victoria Cunard Cruise
Company: Belinda King Creative Productions

"Even the most ambitious and inventive set designer might baulk at the prospect of equipping the Garrick’s tiny studio theatre for this Garrick Rep production.
Full marks to John Brooking for transforming what little space is available into a functional and atmospheric split-level home and musical hall stage that provide the perfect backdrop for the Entertainer."
Neil Bonner, The Stage
